The Linux version of Telpac is developed by Hans-Juergen Barthen dl5di@gmx.de DL5DI. This info was taken from the wl2kemcomm yahoo group.
I uploaded version 0.9b12 of the telpac/LinuX-tool to our webserver yesterday. In this version Andy - K3JSE fixed 2 possible issues with host connection: - connection routine did not always step through PMBO list on failure - telpac_node sometimes hanged if the PMBO closes the connection Thanks Andy ! The changes only work in case of problems with the PMBOs, so most often you will not find any change. Please test it, have a look to your logs and let us know if you find any open issues. There is still 1 important open issue on our to-do-list: it would be secure to read the paclen parameter of the used device from the axports file. This is currently not implemented, it is also not done by the ax25tools delivered with LinuX on which telpac/LinuX is based. So when you configure the paclen command line parameter of telpac/LinuX be carefull to keep it in the range configured in axports for the interface which telpac_node uses ! For security we reduced the default value in the source from 256 to 128 bytes which might be better for people who don't read documentation ..))
